Editorial policy

NicotinePouches.se aims to be a useful and traceable industry source. This page explains how we separate fact from analysis, review sources, correct errors and use illustrations.

Independence and purpose

The site does not sell nicotine or tobacco products. Editorial content explains companies, markets, regulation, manufacturing and product development. Professional advisory work is separate and commercial engagements must not determine editorial conclusions.

Sources

Primary sources are prioritised: legislation, regulator decisions, company filings, exchange announcements, trademark registers, standards and scientific publications. Secondary sources are used when they add documented reporting or lead to primary evidence. Information that cannot be verified is not published as fact.

Fact, analysis and uncertainty

Facts must be traceable to a source. Interpretation is labelled or clearly written as analysis. Forecasts identify their source, definition, geography, period and unit. Masked or missing values in market reports are never filled through assumptions.

Corrections

Factual errors are corrected as soon as they have been verified. Material corrections should state what changed and when. Language edits that do not change meaning do not require a separate correction note.

Updates

The last-updated date changes only when the article itself has been materially updated. An old article is not given a new publication date merely to make it appear current. Regulatory and market articles are reviewed when a relevant event occurs.

AI and images

AI-generated images are used as editorial illustrations and labelled when they could otherwise be read as documentary. They must not be presented as photographs of actual products, factories, documents or events. Verified imagery with documented publication rights is preferred for real product launches.

Authors and accountability

Articles carry a real byline. Fictional staff, quotes, credentials and experts are never used. Stefan Bensmo is responsible for publication and can be contacted through the site contact form.

Request a correction

Send the article URL, the statement that should change and a verifiable source through the contact form. The request is checked against available evidence before a change is published.
